Eccomi qui a parlarvi di uno dei marchi più famosi, se non il più famoso al mondo per quanto riguarda gli occhiali da sole e da vista, i Ray Ban.
Il design Ray Ban è accattivante, giovanile, sempre di moda.
Il marchio è attualmente di proprietà della Luxottica, azienda italiana nella produzione di montature.

Ray Ban has an attractive and young design, always in style.
The brand actually belongs at Luxottica, an italian company wich produces frames.
Nel 1920, il luogotenente John Arthur MacCready, dopo una traversata sull'Atlantico, riportò dei danni permanenti alla vista, si rivolse alla Bausch & Lomb ( 1853, azienda americana di ottica ), chiedendo un degli occhiali da sole altamente protettivi, panoramici, ma allo stesso tempo che fossero eleganti per gli aviatori.
Il brevetto venne depositato il 7 maggio 1937 e il prototipo venne chiamato "Ray Ban anti-glare", ovvero che "bandisce i raggi" e che fossero "anti abbaglio".
Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale la United States Air Force diede in dotazione ai piloti i Ray Ban anti-glare, e la Bausch Lomb fu l'unica fornitrice dell'esercito.
In seguito il modello "anti-glare" fu ribattezzato "Ray Ban Aviator", il vetro delle lenti che era verde divenne più scuro, come le lenti odierne.
In the 1920, Liutenant John Arthur MacCready, after an Atlantic crossing, complained that the sun had permently damaged his eyes, and contacted Bausch & Lomb ( 1853, american optical company ), asking them to create sunglasses that would provide protection and look also sophisticated for aviators.
On May 7, 1937, Bausch & Lomb took out the patent, the prototype known as "anti-glare".
During the Second World War the United States Air Force give to their aviators Ray Ban "anti-glare",
the Bausch & Lomb was the only supplier for the army.
Afterwards Ray Ban "anti-glare" were re-named "Ray Ban Aviator", the glass lenses, that was green, became more dark, as the today lenses.

You will see that in several outfits I will match some clothes that, well if you will see them in your closet or in a store, you will never fit together...
You also will see that I love so much baggy trousers, so comfy, sometimes they look a little bit tomboy, but I love them so much... and we just need to make a good blend.
